Biography

Daniel is a Senior Project Manager and Mechanical Forensic Engineer with extensive expertise in facilities, process, and equipment design across upstream, midstream, downstream, and terminal operations. His technical background also includes commercial and residential plumbing, HVAC systems, boilers, and elevator systems.

A Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas, Louisiana, Florida, California, Utah, Nevada, and Pennsylvania, Daniel also maintains an active NCEES record, enabling rapid licensure in additional states. He is recognized for his leadership, technical acumen, and ability to foster strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Daniel has delivered onshore and offshore facility designs for projects in the U.S. and internationally. His equipment and well pad facility designs are actively in use throughout Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and West Texas. Globally, he has led facility upgrades in Equatorial Guinea and offshore platform projects in Angola and the Gulf of Mexico.

Highly versed in ASME, API, NFPA, and CFR standards—including BPVC, B31.3/4/8/12, 49CFR192/193/195, API 650/12F, API 2000, API 520/521, and API 500/505—Daniel has engineered a wide range of systems and equipment such as separators, tanks, pumps, pig launchers, instrumentation, rail loading arms, valves, piping systems, and burner management systems. His forensic engineering practice also includes investigations of HVAC system damages, including chillers, cooling towers, rooftop units, packaged DX systems, fan coil units, and VTAC systems.
