Biography

Ryan Alms is a seasoned Firefighting and Public Safety professional with over 19 years of dedicated service in fire department operations. With expertise spanning fire suppression, hazardous materials response, rescue, emergency medical services, and fire investigation and prevention, Ryan has built a career focused on safety, risk management, and operational excellence.

He possesses deep knowledge in fire administration, equipment and budget management, public relations, and the enforcement of policies and regulations. Throughout his career, Ryan has demonstrated strong leadership in planning, organizing, and directing fire service operations, as well as developing corrective action plans, safety manuals, and employee training programs to enhance performance and minimize risks.

Ryan is recognized for his ability to improve fire and rescue operations through data-driven analysis of accidents and injuries, policy development, and continuous process improvement. His strong interpersonal skills enable him to collaborate effectively with volunteer firefighters, municipal leaders, key stakeholders, and community members.
